I can really only speak to the situation here in BC. And even then, I'm inappropriately biased in my thinking.

What I want to see, really, is land conservancy and efforts to halt climate change. Arguing over who owns what is secondary, and perhaps based on a faulty premise: that First Nations would be better stewards of the land.
