In a class system where the power players have blinders and ear muffs on, and everyone needs each other to succeed, nobody's going to sink a project

out of noble concerns.
Be circumspect in some circles, make those jokes in other circles with like-minded producers, and the upper crust isn't going to hear about any complaints from actors being abused in various ways during the casting process.
