While I wholeheartedly endorse this, I'd like to understand the narrative aspect of this.

Do they kill him off early in the movie so he doesn't "join" the Justice League or does he "return to his home planet" never to be seen again? Or do they CGI him to all the scenes with the Justice League? I'm really just curious as to how they make this happen.
