Patients can gag and cough during intubation so they have to switch to a more rapid way of intubating plus some places made these boxes that you put -- (edited)

over the head and chest of the patient and there are holes for the anesthesiologist hands so that any cough particles stay in the box as opposed to go into the open air of the room.
