I'm not a lawyer, but if public health is the argument (which it is) how can they allow assembly of X people in one place but not another?

I assume churches are a 'special class' or something under the law in this case? But dunno.

Also not a lawyer but from my understanding the bar to close churches is much higher and basically if anything else indoors is open they should be too -- nm

That was the argument they used here in NY to overturn the ban on church services. -- nm
