Trish, I did everything exactly the way you said in the IM - but I thought a 'large' can of sauce was the 28-oz.

So, I used 2 of those, plus 2 more cans of water, the coffee, etc.

It was essentially tomato soup with meat n onions at the bottom of the pot.

next time I'll try it with the 14-oz cans, that sounds much better. I'm sure it will thicken right up with the amount of cornstarch I used.
