I think it's more difficult in a large school than a daycare center. We have public schools with thousands of kids which I'm sure is way more -- (edited)

Daycares also have one point of entry (and yes, smaller population). Getting one POE for a school, where everyone needs to be checked for fever?

well daycare centers are open daily, but some proposals I've seen floated by schools districts including nyc is stagger to reduce limit

I've heard those and there are issues with that as well, of course. Parents can't work, teach their kids and watch after them at the same time.
