LIR school talk: The county here is planning 1 week in school, 2 week at home to reduce the number of kids in school.

How the hell is this going to work for parents with kids in school? I don't have kids but my GF does, two boys age 10 and 14. She works full time now, and their dad works full time. He is able to work from home right now, but will eventually have to go back to work. They can't leave them at home, and they can't afford to week off work at month either. (Assuming they each do 1 week).
