Last month, I had to get on the Thruway for work, and they weren't collecting cash for tolls.

I don't have EZ Pass, so at the entrance they logged my plate, and when I got off, they asked which entrance I got on, same going home.

It turned out it was the last day they were doing that, and cash was accepted again the following day. The other day I got a bill for the $3 in tolls.
