Yeah, I don't get that. I briefly had the thought about two years ago that I would do a 50K race last year for my 50th birthday year.

50K is less than 10k further than a marathon....that sounds bad perhaps but doable

Then I remembered what I felt like a 20 miles in most of my marathons. At that point it is 10K to finish. I tried several times to mentally fool myself and it was just a 10K at that point and how many 10K's had I completed. It never worked like that 8-P

Then I also remembered that at the end of EVERY marathon that I barely wanted to walk 100 meters.

So even if it isn't a full 10K past the end of a marathon to get o 50 K, Nope
