but they managed to get blood drawn, so we'll know if she's truly heartworm negative.

she also loses her mind if you get anywhere near her butthole... never have been able to get her temp.

but i get the vet thing - she was a street dog, had a rough experience at the rescue, the clinic for heartworm treatment, they were not that great with dogs, she had some really painful injections. i don't think there's any way for her to like it, but new vet is understanding, sit on the floor with her, etc.
