Will fully continue to do so if attacked in that matter
You tend to do it a lot when you’re at an end of your substantive arguments and then dress it as just holding someone accountable which is particularly disingenuous but I do know the lawyer trick well
Sorry but there’s been some interest here in unpacking the science but also a LOT of broad brushing of anyone who wants to open schools
Those particular posts have ranged from “everyone who wants to open schools just cares about the economy” to “only right wing but jobs want to open school.” Just search it. That sort of dangerous thoughtless thinking results in that sort of frustrated response against all political thinking that you saw me make and that you “held me accountable for”—you’re right that the point was leveled at the broad discussion and the various people dismissing us as right wing thinkers who want dead kids— I do have the courage of my convictions to admit exactly what I’m saying (rather than throwing it there and then pretending it isn’t) and it’s based on a myriad of posts over the last few days here attacking as an insane killer anyone who wants to discuss opening schools
As for the merits, I agree with what you said — to clarify the science suggests there’s no need to open high schools or colleges at this time, my point is solely about elementary schools, particularly in light of the higher effect closing them had on the poorer and browner kids
