Wait. I thought it was the vehemence with his admin's defense of DOMA, not the actual defense that you have a problem with.

He doesn't get to choose which laws to enforce and defend. So I don't think it's really a 180. I certainly agree that it's bad, and I totally disagree with the breif, but it just doesn't seem a 180.
