Yeah, Florida's Turnpikes are really just bonuses - or to get around rush hour areas.

The turnpike around Orlando for example. We have one toll road here in Jax that just started up, and it's in a notoriously horrible morning/evening traffic area, so they are charging for you to get home quicker.
But other than ease of paying a few dollars to save 10 or 15 minutes, there's nothing that I can think of that you can't get to otherwise on regular highway roads.
