It is obvious in our day to day workings with users that some users are able to work from home. Our company was told we were working in the office as of June 8th. One of my team was denied his request to WfH and took FMLA for almost 2 months and is now back in the office. Another one of my guys has childcare issues (impacted by COVID) and has burned PTO and is now taking a reduction in hours to take the time off he needs. All of my guys could do nearly all of their job from home 100% of the time, if not part-time.
When I inquired about this pre-June 8th I was basically told No, no WfH primarily as it required us to have consistency with our rules prior to March. But here we are now with some people able to work from home and others not. Not sure how to best approach this with my boss (president of the company) especially since one of the WfH people is the HR person that we've been dealing with who processed all these WfH exception requests. I don't think she's WfH 100% of the time but certainly is today...
