I know a guy who is a supervisor for the group that makes fairings and I've been joking with him that he needs to be considering promotion / transition to another group.
His response was that he's been looking into that as Falcon 9's are the now but definitely not the overall future of Space X. In the meantime, based on their current contracts, there's plenty of business and lack of recovery of fairings, that his group will be plenty busy.
