Maybe I'm just naive, but I don't think he has the support to not leave if he loses the election.

I can totally see attempts to rig the election.
I can also see court challenges if Trump loses, especially if it's close.
I really don't know how he stays if he loses though. I don't believe he has that level of support with the military for one. I don't think even McConnell would let it stand.
