It looks like fun when I see it on TV and in movies but I also haven't had to drive those monstrosities. :-)

A road trip is something I want to do in a very bad way but I'm with you in not trusting hotels, motels, etc.

I'd have to get to where I'm going in one shot and I'm only going where I believe it's safe.
