I saw a waterspout once - it was a long ways off shore though. -- nm

I saw one once. It was when I was living in DeKalb for college. It was south of my apartment moving across a field. We were pretty far from it

I have seen a few more than that. If you are far enough away and it is moving in the right direction it can be pretty amazing.
