Yeah, kare recognizes that parents have part of the chore. I just think neither side is wrong is asking for what they want.

If the parent insists on their place, I think that's totally within their realm of prerogative/responsibility as parent.

Similarly, if a potential sitter declines because of the requirements of said request are too much, that's totally within their rights as well.
