More accurate, he was refused admission (which included a scholarship) after it was discovered he was gay. It’s a Christian conservative school.

I expect this happens at numerous institutions including Liberty University. For what it’s worth, I believe attendance at Sunday mass and other religious activities are required at numerous private religious institutions such as Norte Dame and students are penalized if they don’t comply. I suppose that’s what you have to put up with if you sign up to attend a parochial school. Now, should the federal government be funding these schools? I’d say no, but I imagine the Supreme Court has already said otherwise.
