I just made one of Jamie Oliver's Fast Five recipes with only two of the specified items (improvised the rest).

The five items are:
Aubergine - got
Teriyaki sauce - used Ho Sin instead
Spring Onions - nope
Unsalted peanuts - had an unsalted peanut and cashew nuts mix
Fresh chillies - used dried chilli flakes instead
I also stuck a red pepper in there as it needed using up and some wholemeal spaghetti to bulk it up and get two meals out of it.
