PokemonGO peeps: with GoFest tomorrow, who's participating? (and I have questions)

- Is it just an event of mega-spawns of pokemon? (this is what it seems like to me.)

- Since it's not area-specific now, can you do it from just your home? Do you need to go to different "areas" or will things spawn by your house in the same rate(ish)?

- are there raids going on during the event? If so, and you don't have a ticket, do you not see the raids?

- relatedly, do you need to do things in groups (like raids), or is it all individual for the most part?

- finally, if there are friends that are doing it, is there any benefit? Like, we can do certain activities together?

I know it's not much in price, but I can see myself spending all my weekend time on it, so just weighing the pros & cons.
