traffic.

easiest is just I-75 south, head on down. makes sure you take I-475 to bypass Macon, don't follow 75 though there.

i also like the route of taking I-85 south to I-185, then smaller highways through Albany hitting I-75 in Tifton. it may sound like way out of the way, but the joy of just skipping ATL and Macon traffic can be absolutely worth it.
