We don't know what Sunday holds in store yet either (it may not be spawn related but who knows?)
You do get a gible from the Go Fest Day 1 special research. You only need to log in between 10am-8pm tomorrow to get the research, you don't have to finish it tomorrow AFAIK. The day 1 research includes 10 incense and 200 great balls as rewards too
