Activate an incense and more Pokémon than you can catch. I generally have none spawning at my house, now I have one or two pretty much always. I have water the first hour, and getting a bunch of Pokémon I didn’t have.
Research tasks are pretty standard, catch 20 each fire, grass, water, battle in two raids, make a new friend (ugh) all for encounters. Also basically a couple freebies, take a snapshot of your buddy for 10 incense, and pop an incense for 200 great balls.
