Personal taste. I like loops behind ears for convenience, when i'm in and out of the car.

I used to hate ties behind the head, but then figured out it it's easy to untie the top one and wear around your neck when not needed. So if it's a longer thing, I like the ties better. Some people like the neck gaiter style with no straps. I tried that but didn't like it on my neck.
Beyond that, it's your style. There are nice business ones made out of men's shirting, plain sporty ones, masks made out of tradictional fabric from anywhere you want, fan masks, sports masks, really anything.
