The joke sucked even if Bristol was the target, but the faux outrage is beyond reasonable.

Palin has tried to build it into something she's well aware it wasn't to burnish her star.
Both sides have behaved unseemly. Now that Dave has issued a sincere apology on the air she should do the appropriate thing and accept it and drop it.
