shadowy cabal of influence announces its dislike of Harris as the vp choice, liberal pundits don’t like the appearance of a shadowy cabal wielding influence in the party, so pundits will publicly support Harris as the vp choice in order to oppose them where said pundits otherwise would have expressed reservations.
