I had to send an email to the department earlier this week.
(paraphrased version below)
QUIT FREAKING OUT.
This virus is everywhere. You are going to hear rumors about people in other departments testing positive or being under quarantine. It shouldn't change a thing for your normal daily routines. No, we're not going to be sending emails to everyone every time we know of a confirmed + test or if someone is quarantining.
Go into work every day and act like every other human you see is a carrier. Take every precaution you can. Best case is when we start having 1-2 of us eventually test positive it will only be 1-2 not 10-15.
