We had one until late last year. We did not get many SPAM calls, at least in the evening and weekends. I do miss it a bit (pre-COVID anyway).

Was a lot easier for family to call the house. They would catch whoever was home vs trying three different mobile phone numbers to catch someone that is not too busy to talk.
