I don't have the time to get into a big discussion on this today. Summary is I know I'm in the minority on this but we should have more of them in US -- nm

Two issues I have: 1) The only place where we apply assumed guilt is when we fine owners without knowing they are drivers.

The big problem (it seems to me, as an outsider) is that people don't trust the enforcement.

If the enforcement is faulty, that is one thing. But speed limits are valid everywhere, not only where cameras are installed. (NM)

Speed limits are valid everywhere, but the risks of not complying with them are different in different places.

This is how the red light cameras have been around us also. It doesn't seem to reduce accidents either as people would get into accidents slamming

This is more on drivers than enforcers to me. The speed cameras are all marked, there's transparency about errors, etc -- nm

I've seen a few around Chicago I think. There are big signs with "Speed enforcement ahead" or something that if I remember right. Plus Waze had them -- nm
