Fun march last night - in the wealthiest neighborhood of our city, there's a man who is a major part of ICE detention centers. Seems if you show up

outside a rich person's house to yell "SHAME", it's good cause for 5 police cars, 25 cops, and a paddy wagon to show up and harass a group of 75 protesters. nothing was done, nobody was on the property (except for media, they walked on his lawn to shoot footage of the protesters).
The few times we've marched that neighborhood, we've had threats of violence from residents, attacks, filming, mocking, spitting... some of the worst behavior in all of the time protesting came from these people living in multi-million dollar mansions, not to mention the police activity going to 11.
No arrests, btw. Good march, well organized. Apparently ICE protests in general get some really hard attacks by police and federal agents. There is a detention center about an hour outside of town, protesters have learned to be vigilant when they're out there.
