Dish Network is a very strange stand-out in the media conglomerate industry. They seem to have bet on every wrong horse.

They bought Blockbuster. They bought Sling. They bought Boost Mobile. They own no networks. They produce no content. They won't survive alone. Will DirecTV (AT&T) buy them, or a competitor like Verizon or Comcast? Honestly, I don't think even AT&T wants to be doing satellite as it just distracts from their land-based offerings. But Dish won't go solo for much longer.
