*WHEN THE OTHER SIDE'S CHOICE IS PENCE* comes across as incredibly demeaning, sexist, insulting and not very forward leaning.
At least that's what it looks like from over here. I don't think anyone purposefully set out to be any of those negative things, but perception is important. If we're going to move ahead in this country as we reckon with our hideous history on race and women these are the sorts of things we should pause to examine.
