There will always be something to object to. There will be things that people don't love about someone. -- (edited)

Our party is a big tent and we will never make everyone happy. Campaigns are designed to pull out the negatives about individuals. This is unavoidable because no one is perfect. Where were the positives on any these women on B2? For example, personally, I don't give a shit if someone helped build irrigation ditches in Cuba during the 70s. I think I have a better idea of who Karen Bass is now and what she does for the country as a uniter, leader of her Caucus and someone who has enacted legislation in a bipartisan manner. That's the stuff that matters. The optics of B2 stand. It's questionable to try to excuse it just because 'it's always been done this way' and because it's not 'a bunch of dudes this time'. We are smart and we can evolve. And perhaps it's time we check ourselves.
