Yes, there's training shoes and rain shoes. I'm lucky enough that's essentially no weather so no need for the special non-vented, non-mesh version of running shoes

But for a moment, you had me thinking that yeah....I need a runner-ish shoe to change into after a run but I'm still in running clothes...complete the look

Then I remembered that I wore Vans when driving to the run and then changed back into those Vans for post run coffee and it was fine. Or maybe it was just functional....
