*laugh* I love that you're considering trail shoes.
I started in cross country in high school but I'm so old that there wasn't special trail shoes. So paths, hills that's a flashback but it's only been for events so I've beat the hell out of my running shoes as well as occasionally had the heart racing slide or slip.
I'd love to hear about your trail adventures in trail shoes if you decide to take the economic plunge
