I listened to episode 4 of Streaming into the Void. It’s my first listen of the podcast. Here’s my unsolicited feedback. -- (edited)

It goes without saying that Kim is the anchor of the show. Without her, it’s a sausage factory. Worse, since you’re all about the same vocally, it’s an extremely creepy sausage factory.
So what can you do about that?
Obviously special guests would help. Especially diverse ones. Even if they only are diverse aurally. Or perhaps, not have all four(?) of the dudes on every week. I know, heartbreaker.
As for the content: I like it. A lot. It’s extremely topical for me. It’s something I care about very much so I want to hear all the gory details that you guys are really good at digging your teeth into. Yeah, it’s kind of dry. And yes, you guys are obviously running on some in-jokes. But it’s good material.
I wished that it wasn’t entirely a recap of things that just happened though. Offering up a segment where you are looking forward would be great.
To make room, you’ll have to make harder decisions on when to stop over-explaining everything. I don’t think your podcast is ever going to get into the ears of someone is one who needed that much detail of what Fortnight was. That it led into kind of an extra side story about streaming video games didn’t help wrap it up in a tight enough bow.
In general, I think all of your stories went on too long, or got too many responses from the panel. But I definitely liked the variety. I never would have thought much about DC, Comics, Crunchyroll, and the weirdness of Warner’s woes.
So, in conclusion, it’s certainly worth a follow. I look forward to more episodes.
But you absolutely need to address the Every Man situation in some form or fashion sooner rather than later. Everything else is just editorial stuff and more practice.
