She did what was asked of her, and NBC News spun it into something different. She’s right. It’s damaging.

The deplorables will add it to the pile, argue that something is being covered up, facts be damned. Maybe one more conspiracy on the crazy train doesn’t matter that much, but it’s one more conspiracy we didn’t need.
