The consideration here is that some players like Mahomes and McCaffrey would represent significant losses to their teams.

So, what I may set up is some of system wherein people can maintain their keepers in exchange for ceding picks in a keeper redraft.

Like, you could have pick 1-5 or Patrick Mahomes. Obviously, barring something unforeseen, people would take Mahomes. If someone had him and McCaffrey, the other choice would be pick 2-8 or McCaffrey, which isn't much of a choice.

That's the idea I'm toying with at the moment. It would reward good teams while giving weaker teams a chance to refresh rosters.
