There was also a program to provide solar to up to 50k homes in South Australia that wouldn't cost the homeowners.

The deal was made in 2018 but I can't find any follow-up or if the battery farm/solar/wind was an adjustment to that plan.
But the battery farms are doing extremely well. They're adding more in Australia and in California.
