I just finished the new Streamed Hams and it was another good episode.

I liked the discussion about the Netflix model of dropping every episode vs. weekly. As a fan of the weekly model I was hoping someone would come to the defense of it. I binge shows all the time and used to love it when a show had every episode dropped at once but I found myself unhappy after a while as I had just burned through every episode and wouldn't get any new ones for six to nine months or more.
I've come around full circle and am back to wanting more weekly releases and less full season drops. I'm unable to stop watching a show if the next episode is available so I'd prefer it if they used a weekly release schedule for most shows.
As for the services, it could get more people to stay with the service longer rather than do what Mop did with CBS and just binge and drop. If you want to stay current and keep up with the show you'd have to subscribe. You could wait months to watch them all but by that point you're behind everyone else and no one wants to talk with you about it anymore.
I like the weekly discussions about episodes and the buildup to the next one.
