I've been riding the bus lately. I don't have to, but I just want to go around the city and not feel so locked into my area.

And I'm pondering if I should not be doing that.
The buses requires everyone to wear a mask and there is 95% compliance I'd say (About 0.1% no mask and about 4.9% mask but no covering nose or wrapped around chin because who knows why). And although the buses have A/C a lot of them have the windows open for circulation (and if not I tend to open them)
I have friends who think I'm crazy to get on the bus and other friends who take the subway regularly (it's been 6+ months since I've been on the subway)
Trying to figure out the right balance for yourself is tough, but don't negotiate what you are comfortable with.
