fence about what the right thing to do here was, but I'm coming to the conclusion that this makes the most sense. He's not elected and had no power to directly cause a change in policy and based on history no reason to think that rushing out this single point of information would move the needle on Trump's actions. So gather the story in full and present it to voters and let them decide.
