Anyone else been back to the movies in theatre yet? I saw Unhinged Thursday for a 1:45 matinee - had the whole place to myself.

It wasn't the smaller movie house in Harbor Springs, but instead the 8 screen movie theatre in Petoskey. They have Fall to Spring, Senior matinee on Thursdays and I was really hoping there wouldn't be many going to see that particular movie at that hour - so I took a half day off work - got there at 1:40 and asked how many tickets were sold (there were only 5 cars out front) - and when she said "none yet" - I was thrilled! I brought my own hand sanitizer and wiped down the arm rests and enjoyed the movie all by myself. I give it a B ... the actress in it was pretty good - but it was odd seeing Russell Crowe with a big belly and being the bad guy for a change.
In today's world of "mean" people - the movie seemed POSSIBLE ... but not maybe PROBABLE. We've had a spectacularly horrific Summer here with service people being treated very poorly by some folks that while they aren't the majority for sure - their behavior is so bad that it has really ruined many businesses days to the point where some stayed closed the next day to allow staff to recover from the abuse. So ... "unhinged behavior" ... yep - seen some of that this season for sure.
this was my first "in movie house" movie since last February - seeing "The Invisible Man" ... and I'll probably take a few more Thursday afternoons off to see new films as they come out - since I'm not using my vacation time else hwere yet.
