Actually, humidity lowers the drag as humid air is less dense than dry air. The humidity does affect the ball in that the yarn inside holds

moisture more in humid air which makes the ball less springy/bouncy off the bat. It's why the Rockies keep their balls in a humidor. They're trying to lessen the effect of the thin air they play in.
