So we went to the NASCAR races at Bristol, TN, this weekend. Three observances/things.

One: they did a very good job with social distancing. Crowd was very spread out in the stands. Place holds 160,000, but they limited it to under 40k. We were in the Bristol Club (inside) and had one older couple sitting within 30 feet of us. Otherwise, it was VERY empty and everyone had to wear masks at all times, except when sitting in your seats. There were only two races (one each Friday and Saturday night), so wasn't an all day event either. It was check in at your assigned time, watch, and leave when released (by rows) in specific ordered fashions.

Two: There are a lot of Trump supporters. Obviously, that's his core crowd, but, jeez, it's A LOT of vocal *supporters*. Flags, chants, and other paraphernalia. Very saddening.

Three: The crowd booed Bubba Wallace when he was introduced. I need to figure out if they're booing him (a) because they don't like him, like they do for Kyle Busch, or (b) because he's a black man in NASCAR. My guess is it's B but some of they *say* it's A.
