Since Masked Singer is premiering tonight, I'm tinkering with my panelist scoring system I used last year. Happy to take suggestions.

Definitions:

Provisional Guess (PG) -- an assertion of identity immediately following a performance.
Some members of the panel are polled and prompted for their thoughts as to the performer's identity. While the panelist might list several names, the one given the most emphasis (typically the last one mentioned) will be counted as the panelist's provisional guess. (Also known as Preliminary Guess or Penultimate Guess.)

Final Guess (FG) -- an assertion of identity just before the final reveal.
All members of the panel are polled and prompted for their thoughts as to the performer's identity. The name provided will be counted as the panelist's final guess. (Also known as Ultimate guess.)

Scoring:
Points are awarded at performer reveal. A panelist can earn one point of each type per performer, for a maximum possible score of four points.

Provisional Point:
1 point for identifying the performer correctly at some point with a Provisional Guess (even if the panelist has a subsequent incorrect Provisional Guess or Final Guess)

Final Point:
1 point for identifying the performer correctly with a Final Guess

First-In Bonus:
1 point for being the first panelist to identify a performer correctly with either a Provisional Guess or Final Guess

Going Alone Bonus:
1 point for being the only panelist to identify a performer correctly with either a Provisional Guess or Final Guess
