I totally get the point of the NYTimes story. It's a big deal that Trump didn't pay taxes and has this much debt.

But we all know it's not going to change minds. So, use it in debates if you have a zinger for it, but other than that, move on.
Add it to the many things he'll be charged for when he's voted out of office. I don't think saying what's the point of pushing this further is defeatist. I'm saying let's (as Democrats) band together and get people voting. Let's encourage each other even if we think the other person might be apathetic, defeatist or an impulsive name-caller.
This tax story isn't going to bring down Trump, but the fact that it will drive a wedge between democrats is silly, and all on people that write stories like this.
I'm sure there were plenty of stories that I thought were important that other people think we should move on from. That doesn't make them defeatist pieces of shit because they're saying "what's the point?".
